In a fitting twist of history, designer Linda Kokkonen held her runway show inside Karuna Church, the island’s oldest building, dating back to 1685. Meanwhile, four other designers showcased their creations at the stately Kahiluoto Manor House, which boasts a history stretching to the late 1700s.
The collections on display embodied the essence of modern Finnish fashion: a palette of dark tones, striking sculptural silhouettes, and a deep commitment to sustainability.
