Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Shares Snapshot of Finnish Adventure
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Dubai, recently offered his 16 million Instagram followers a glimpse into his picturesque holiday in Finland. The 10 captivating images highlight his adventures with friends against the stunning snowy backdrop of Finnish Lapland. Among the snapshots, one particularly charming photo shows him pouring steaming coffee over a crackling fire, exuding a warmth that contrasts beautifully with the chill in the air.
In a lively video, the Crown Prince demonstrates his resourcefulness, drilling a hole in the ice for a bit of fishing, an endeavor not commonly associated with royalty. Another striking image captures him behind the wheel of a BMW, courtesy of Lapland Driving, a company specializing in motorsport experiences across Europe’s wintry terrains. With driving centers in locations such as Levi and Rovaniemi, which rests on the Arctic Circle, this venture perfectly showcases the region’s iconic landscape.
Affectionately known as Fazza, Sheikh Hamdan is celebrated for his adventurous spirit, reflecting a passion for travel that takes him from the serene hills of Yorkshire to the scenic vistas of Yosemite National Park. Recently, he shared memories of his New Year’s Eve festivities in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland, where he reveled in another winter wonderland.
Last August, Sheikh Hamdan returned to northeast England for his annual shooting trip, this year accompanied by his twins, Sheikh Rashid and Sheikha Shaikha. He documented this experience with a series of photos, showcasing a blend of family bonding and sporting tradition.
Further back, he shared details of his adventurous hike through the breathtaking scenery of Yosemite, where he successfully completed the demanding Half Dome Trek. Ascending more than 1,500 meters above Yosemite Valley, this challenging hike is not for the faint-hearted, covering over 30 kilometers and designed for seasoned mountaineers.
Earlier in the year, his affection for Japan was evident as he posted snapshots from his visit to the vibrant country, featuring him alongside a geisha and savoring the dynamic culinary scene. In those images, his friend and fellow traveler, Abdulla Al Naboodah, made an appearance, along with Maj, the son of his close friend, Ahmad Jaber Al Harbi.
This time last year, Sheikh Hamdan was immersing himself in the skiing season at Courchevel in southeast France, a celebrated destination within the Three Valleys, renowned as the largest interconnected ski area in the world. Accompanied by photographer Ali Essa, his ski trip included dynamic action shots on the slopes, alongside friends, including Maj and Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma, affectionately known as Uncle Saeed.
As the Crown Prince continues to traverse the globe, his adventures not only entertain but also inspire, offering a rich tapestry of travel experiences to his wide audience.
