Norway
Planning a trip to Norway? Here are some important details you should know.
Fully vaccinated travelers can enter Norway by simply presenting their Covid pass; there’s no need for a negative test result, entry registration, border testing, or quarantine upon arrival.
However, if you are vaccinated but not fully immune, a negative test is necessary before entering, which can be done upon arrival at airports or up to 24 hours beforehand.
Alternatively, proof of a past Covid infection within the last year may suffice.
As of November 26, all arrivals must register online to aid authorities in tracking any potential Covid outbreaks.
Sweden
Currently, Sweden has instituted a temporary travel ban; however, travelers with a UK vaccine certificate are exempt from these restrictions.
Fully vaccinated arrivals from the UK do not need to undergo Covid testing or isolation upon entering the country.
Unvaccinated travelers must provide proof of exemption from the travel ban, along with a valid test taken within the last 48 hours.
Finland
Entry regulations for Finland hinge significantly on your vaccination status.
Travelers who have been fully vaccinated for at least two weeks can enter without major restrictions, while those without vaccination face more stringent entry criteria.
Unvaccinated individuals must provide documentation of an essential or compassionate reason for their visit and undergo a Covid test no later than 24 hours post-arrival.
Denmark
Denmark previously required visitors to demonstrate a ‘worthy purpose’ for entry, but that restriction was lifted on October 25, welcoming tourists back to its scenic shores.
Fully vaccinated travelers can now enjoy entry without the hassle of testing or isolation.
However, unvaccinated visitors may need to take a test upon arrival and are subject to a 10-day self-isolation period.
Those without vaccination who are arriving from an EU country will only need to test both before and immediately after their arrival, with no self-isolation required.
