Introducing the first-ever package tour to Greenland, featuring unique itineraries and activities. Experience breathtaking Ice Fjord boat tours alongside immersive walking excursions and more.
Kyowon Tour Travel Agency has unveiled a groundbreaking package tour to Greenland, setting a new standard in the travel industry.
Dubbed “The Vanishing Wonder of Mother Nature,” this 10-day adventure allows travelers to fully immerse themselves in the breathtaking natural beauty of Greenland, the world’s largest island.
This package is designed to elevate the travel experience, featuring a balanced blend of exploration and engagement without the pressures of tipping, optional activities, or shopping. Instead, participants can look forward to a meticulously curated itinerary filled with outdoor adventures and cultural immersion.
Greenland, nestled within the Arctic Circle, is a Danish territory largely covered—85 percent, to be exact—by ice. The ideal travel window spans from May to September, when temperatures typically hover between 0 and 8°C. To align with this timeframe, the travel agency has crafted tours set to launch between May and early September of next year, with the inaugural trip scheduled for May 6.
Travelers will fly with Finnair via Incheon to Helsinki, before making their way to the vibrant capital of Greenland, Nuuk. Following a tour of Nuuk’s unique Arctic culture, guests will explore the Greenland National Museum, which offers insights into the island’s rich history and heritage.
In the charming Midwestern port city of Ilulissat, travelers can partake in ice Fjord boat tours and guided walking excursions. From Point 660, where the ice cap is situated, visitors will be afforded stunning views of the Arctic’s year-round permafrost tundra and have the opportunity to trek directly atop the expansive inland glacier, capturing unforgettable photographs amidst the dramatic landscape.
A highlight of this tour is the Equi Glacier boat tour, where travelers can marvel at the majestic glacier and hear the surreal sounds of melting ice. Encounters with local wildlife, including whales and sea lions, will add to the adventure, alongside a day of free exploration to enjoy the charm of Ilulissat at one’s own pace.
Moreover, the tour also includes the “Midsummer Dream: Iceland and Greenland in 10 Days,” allowing travelers to explore key attractions in both destinations.
In celebration of this landmark launch, Travel Magazine will host an event to share Greenland travel insights. Scheduled for 2 PM on December 3 at the Kyowon Tour Building’s Concert Hall, the “Travel Ezzy Show” will highlight the new package and offer exclusive discounts for bookings made onsite.
A spokesperson from Travel Magazine expressed enthusiasm about introducing this one-of-a-kind Greenland package, saying, “We aim to provide travelers with new and unforgettable experiences. We are committed to expanding our offerings and continuously diversifying travel destinations and products.”
