Valo Hotel & Work Clinches Finland’s Top Hotel Title for Third Consecutive Year

In a testament to its unique hospitality approach, Valo Hotel & Work in Helsinki has once again been recognized as Finland’s leading hotel, marking its third consecutive victory at the prestigious World Travel Awards. The accolades were unveiled during a ceremony held on Wednesday in the picturesque backdrop of Sardinia, Italy.

“We’re more than just a hotel; we’re a community where work, leisure, events, and well-being harmoniously coexist,” said Minna Hurme, Valo’s Head of Design, in a press release. “This blend fosters unique encounters and innovations that set us apart.”

Since its debut in the autumn of 2020, Valo Hotel & Work has redefined the traditional hotel experience by integrating functional workspace with comfortable accommodations, catering not just to travelers but also to local professionals.

Celebrating Excellence in Finnish Hospitality

The night also honored several other standout establishments in Finnish hospitality. The title of Finland’s best resort went to Hotel Sveitsi in Hyvinkää, while Hotel Haven was named the leading boutique hotel, a title it has proudly claimed for the second consecutive year.

In the realm of design, Hotel AX took home the award for the best design hotel, and Radisson Blu Hotel in Oulu secured the title for best conference hotel of the year. Meanwhile, Clarion Hotel Helsinki was named the leading business hotel, and the Mannerheim suite at Hotel Kämp was celebrated as the most beautiful hotel room in the country.

The gala was not solely focused on hotel awards; it also recognized excellence in travel services, with Apollomatkat being honored as the best travel agency and Tjäreborg awarded the title of best online travel agency.

The evening encapsulated the vibrant landscape of Finnish hospitality, showcasing a blend of innovation, design, and warm service that continues to elevate the country’s appeal as a destination.
