The prime minister, the public health authority, and a significant majority of Finns support banning or regulating social media for those under 15. What are your thoughts on this issue?
In Finland, there is a mounting consensus advocating for an approach akin to Australia’s, which would see the prohibition of social media usage for children under the age of 15.
Prime Minister Petteri Orpo (NCP) has voiced his support for such measures this month. Additionally, the Finnish public health authority, THL, has just revised its guidelines on children’s social media usage. A recent poll confirms that two-thirds of Finns are in favor of a ban.
But we want to hear from you. Should Finland implement restrictions on children’s access to social media?
