Arrival & Grounding Rituals

Your wellness journey begins the moment you arrive in Iceland, with a day dedicated to grounding and gentle exploration. Settle into your accommodation before heading to the Sky Lagoon, where the warm geothermal waters and stunning ocean vistas provide the perfect introduction to your retreat. As night falls, enjoy an intimate dining experience with locals, savoring authentic Icelandic cuisine in a cozy atmosphere.

For those wishing to extend their stay in Reykjavík, we offer optional workshops focused on meditation, breathwork, sound therapy, and relaxation. You can also take part in active workshops like URÐ, where you’ll craft your own body oil and scrub using Icelandic botanicals.

Day 1
Movement, Mindfulness & Hot and Cold Therapy

Start your day with a private barre class at Iceland’s first boutique studio. Led by an expert instructor, this 50-minute session integrates strength, flexibility, and mindfulness, leaving you invigorated. Afterward, embark on a journey to Hvammsvík Hot Springs, where you can delight in the soothing geothermal warmth, complemented by brisk cold-water plunges in the salty ocean, inspired by the Wim Hof method.

In the afternoon, indulge in a private wine tasting by the lake—an optional experience to savor.

Day 2
Restore & Release

The next morning unfolds with a nourishing breakfast followed by a Nordic sauna and float therapy session—an experience designed to hush the mind and relax the body. You’ll immerse yourself in the sauna’s cleansing warmth, infused with Icelandic herbs, before drifting effortlessly in the geothermal water during float therapy. This serene experience melts away muscle tension and helps release stress, ideal for improving sleep.

Afterward, enjoy a fresh, locally sourced lunch at Friðheimar, where delicious seasonal dishes are crafted from greenhouse-grown tomatoes. Following lunch, your private guide will take you to witness the Golden Circle’s wonders, including the mesmerizing Gullfoss waterfall and the erupting Geyser.

Days 4-5
Lagoons, South Coast Wonders & Spa Indulgence

Discover the enchanting Laugarás Lagoon, a geothermal oasis wrapped in lush greenery. Here, you can unwind in the mineral-rich waters while taking in panoramic views of the Icelandic countryside. Enjoy a delicious two-course lunch made from fresh, locally inspired dishes before continuing your exploration.

Your retreat along the South Coast reveals some of Iceland’s most iconic sights, including the dramatic Reynisfjara Black Beach, Skógafoss Waterfall, and Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, which can be walked behind during the summer for a breathtaking perspective.

If time permits, we can customize your itinerary to incorporate exclusive experiences in the southern highlands, such as a guided yoga or meditation session amid vast volcanic plains. This serene setting offers a rare chance to connect with nature without distractions.

Your final morning is yours to choose—opt for an active day with horse riding, ATV adventure, or glacier hiking. Alternatively, take a leisurely morning to explore nearby waterfalls and coastal viewpoints before heading to your concluding retreat for unparalleled relaxation.

Days 6-7
Spa Retreat & Final Moments

Your wellness journey culminates at The Retreat, a sanctuary of tranquility set amidst Iceland’s serene landscapes. Every detail of this oasis is crafted to soothe the senses and restore balance—an ideal conclusion to your retreat. Their holistic approach encourages you to embrace the present moment fully.

Awaken revitalized with guided yoga, complimentary for guests of The Retreat, followed by relaxation in a range of thermal pools, saunas, and serene spaces. Don’t miss the signature Blue Lagoon Ritual—a highlight that includes an in-water massage that will leave you floating on clouds. Additional treatments, including massages and facials, are also available for those seeking a pampering experience.

On your final morning, take a moment to soak in the tranquility before your departure, feeling refreshed, renewed, and inspired by the majestic Icelandic landscape.
