Darts Star Luke Littler Crowned World’s Sexiest Male Athlete in British Poll

Luke Littler, the 18-year-old darts sensation from England, has found himself at the center of an unexpected media frenzy after being named the world’s sexiest male athlete in a recent British poll.

In a candid conversation with The Independent, Littler shared his initial disbelief upon discovering the accolade. “I saw something in the news while scrolling through my phone and thought, surely this can’t be true,” he recalled. The report, surprisingly, had also garnered attention on ITV, a major British television channel.

“At that point, I thought, okay. I’m not even sure if there’s a trophy involved. I didn’t even know this was a thing,” Littler added with a hint of bemusement.

The poll, according to the established sports publication The Sporting News, was orchestrated by Illicit Encounters—a controversial dating site catering to married individuals seeking discreet connections. Known for creating buzz through provocative surveys, the platform claimed that 2,000 British women voted for Littler to claim the top spot, with boxer Tyson Fury landing in second and F1 driver Lando Norris taking third.

A spokesperson for Illicit Encounters touted Littler’s win as “a victory for real men everywhere.” They noted a shift in women’s preferences, stating, “Women no longer care about an overly groomed appearance. They want normal guys who are confident. Luke Littler represents this to the greatest extent. He’s the anti-supermodel of athletes—a working-class hero with a pub lunch physique.”

Aside from this surprising title, Littler has been making headlines of late for another personal milestone: he recently earned his driver’s license after overcoming the challenge of failing the theory test six times. Hailing from Warrington—once labeled Britain’s worst cultural town—Littler has transformed from a local talent into a rising star, capturing not only the essence of darts but also the attention of the public and media alike.

With each success, Luke Littler continues to emerge as a refreshing figure in the sporting world, proving that charisma comes in many forms.
