Meanwhile, down under, Australian travelers are not far behind, with 13% keen on exploring such culinary events.
MENA and India: A Taste for Flavorful Journeys
Turning to the Middle East and North Africa, about one in five travelers from the UAE (22%) and Saudi Arabia (22%) are drawn to food festivals. Indian travelers also demonstrate a keen appetite for gastronomic explorations, with 22% expressing interest in these flavorful escapades.
North America: Tantalizing Taste Buds
Across the Atlantic, both American and Canadian travelers are showing a growing enthusiasm for food and drink festivals, with 13% and 11% indicating a preference, respectively. In contrast, only 5% of Mexican travelers seem inclined toward these culinary experiences.
Europe: Varied Interests Across the Continent
European interest in food festivals varies significantly from country to country, though most nations fall within the lower half of the spectrum. The strongest interest appears in the Nordic countries, with travelers from Norway (8%), Sweden (7%), Finland (7%), and the UK (7%) showing a more pronounced enthusiasm for culinary festivals. Conversely, travelers from Denmark (4%), the Netherlands (4%), France (3%), and Germany (3%) are among the least likely to prioritize these gastronomic journeys.
